GetWorkPaid

Draft — not final

This wording has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. It is published here so you can see what we intend to say.

Data Processing Commitment

This commitment is a working draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

This applies to the personal data of your customers that you collect through GetWorkPaid — their names, contact details, addresses and booking history.

You are the controller, we are the processor

You decide what is collected and what it is used for. We hold it and act on your instructions. Using GetWorkPaid is your instruction to us to store that data and to send the booking emails the product sends on your behalf.

What we commit to

  • We process your customers' data only to provide the service to you, and never for our own purposes, advertising, or resale.
  • We keep it confidential and restrict access to the people who need it to run and support the service.
  • We hold it with appropriate technical measures, including row-level access rules that keep one business's customers invisible to every other business.
  • We use the sub-processors named in the Privacy Policy, and will tell you before adding another.
  • We help you answer a customer's request to see, correct or delete their data, and we tell you without undue delay if their data is ever exposed.
  • When you close your account, we delete or return your customers' data.

What stays yours

Answering your customers. You are the one they booked with, you are the one whose name is on the site, and a request about their data is yours to answer.
