Terms of Service

These terms are a working draft. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer.

Who this agreement is between

GetWorkPaid ("we", "us") provides software that helps a service business publish a website, take bookings and get paid. These terms are between us and the business owner who creates an account ("you").

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your sign-in details to yourself, and for the accuracy of what you publish on your site — your business name, your prices and what you promise a customer.

Your subscription

The service is billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; your site and booking page stay live until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part months.

Your customers are yours

Bookings, customer contact details and job history created through GetWorkPaid belong to your business. We hold them on your behalf — see the Data Processing Commitment. If you leave, you may export them, and we delete them on request.

What we ask of you

Do not use GetWorkPaid to send unsolicited messages, to collect payment for work you do not intend to do, or to publish anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

What we do not promise

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not a party to the arrangement between you and your customer: the work, the price and the dispute are yours.

Changes

We will tell you before these terms change in a way that affects you, and the version you accepted is recorded against your account.
